I had so much fun at Mums launch at Diesel + Siltanen yesterday = going to be in lots of drunken pictures today looking horrible...and I must remember to pick up the magazine itself because I forgot yesterday. I can't remember the content but it smelled good, expensive, Swedish! Also my new shoes start to hurt after five hours.

Tomorrow I have lots of school, then Thursday is Mums magazine launch and Taxi Taxi at Siltanen, looking forward to both. And to my 19th birthday 21.11, it's going to be wild but no scars for anyone ok! I've also got an eye on amazing open-toe wedges and a cool jacket, maybe I'm going to gift myself with them...

WE'RE GONNA LIVE IT UP, I PROMISE

Balenciaga's first perfume since the house was re-launched makes me kinda excited. Of course perfumes are one of the best ways for fashion houses (and this one is indeed a lisence through Coty, not in-house like Chanel or Hermes) to milk money but this at least seems tastefully executed, like it could be my new favorite object in life. I can't wait to know the scent itself, that is supposed to be a mix of cedar, patchouli and violet leaves. The face for it is none other than the talented Charlotte Gainsbourg and the campaign by Steven Meisel seems absolutely lovely! I also like the fact that they've chosen the simple name Paris, not something epic like The One or Free...It isn't launching until February 2010 though, so we'll have to wait! Unless we're Charlotte Gainsbourg of course..

FRIDAY THE 13TH

Turku, so good it hurts. Remember this? Well, I did it again. I suggested Emilia and Sanna (DINOSAURUXIA) to take a Photobooth picture after their soundcheck because the stage at Dynamo was really nice with red velvet curtains. Well, the stage had also and meter drop in one corner, just behind where the instruments and Mac were set. I had warned Emilia and Sanna constantly not to fall into it but guess where I rushed into when I wanted to be behind them in the picture...I called to hospital today to book an appointment for stiches but they said they don't stich old wounds. So that means I'll be getting mega ugly scar because what you don't see in the picture is that a piece of my skin went missing in the hole..and the wound is kinda deep. Two steps back and it's like that, such is life...

I'm seeing Glass Candy live tonight at Redrum! Hopefully I won't trip into glass candy again. I've had an amazing couple of days...they pass so fast, maybe it because twilight settles at 15.30 every day. Still weird to think this will go on for at least 4 months. But we'll manage with cashmere and merino wool, won't we? I've also got some amazing jackets on hold at UFF...they will help me get through, now there's only left to choose which one.

Ps. If your living in Turku...come down to Dynamo tomorrow, it's LYS with live by DINOSAURUXIA! I'm kinda excited about Turku..don't know why. Maybe it's because the last time I went there it was 2007 and I got drunk for the very first time in my life with friends and post-rock dudes and I saw the Horrors, oh how I wish teenagedom lasted forever.
